Being very frank to you, I don't like the way your website is designed . As it is a gaming site, you should have worked hard to improve and design it in such a way that visitor shall be impressed with not only the games you sale but also the way you presented them.

For one website like racing games you need to work hard for example 2 mounths and to get results.

Thankyou for your honesty, I know what you mean, design is certainly my weakest area, this is probably one of the reasons people aren't staying at my site very long.

The site is still very much in it's infancy and I have spent most time trying to build the site concentrating on functionality, content and search engine optimisation.

I now need to improve the design, I may need to get someone to assist me in this area, fortunately I know a couple of designers who may be able to help me out.

Very Honestly, you should try to have eye-catchy design for your gaming website.
Try to grab good designing concept by referring some free gaming related webtemplates and hire a professional web designer for getting it done.
Attractive design also plays an important role for getting traffic and repeated visitors.

I agree that the design does not go well with the theme of your website.But one thing about the website that should be appreciated is the content, you have sincerely taken efforts in building the content.
My recommendation would be, change the banner to somewhat attractive gaming site.

I've taken your advise and added a banner across the top of the page, I think it looks a bit better now, although I'm sure there is much more I can do to improve the design over the coming months.

@liveland : Looks better now try to update overall theme of the website, you can refer other popular gaming website to get some idea !!!

Yeah it looks much better now .

Yet, it isn't that impressive. Try a different theme. The current theme gives an impression that you have somehow tried to fit in the content. Have some pictures of some latest well known games, this would add value to the website. Though I am happy with the content, but you need to put in some effort on improving the design of the website.

I am sure, with a consistent effort and feedback from others would help to make your website to succeed.
