My new site

My new site is Florida Villas, Orlando Villas for Rent, Orlando Vacation Homes | Florida Villa Rentals Home there are still some little bugs but getting them resolved today (only to do with the enquiry form and a few minor things).

The only part I have not completed is the information about florida, but the villa search is complete. Do you think it works ok?

My first website that I have done on my own, I used joomla because I could do a search system which was free and didnt need much coding knowledge.

I decided to do it on my own in the end with the help of addons and some forum users there too. It originally was a static html site with no villa search function but now that is mainly what I want. People were saying it would cost over £1000 to do so I had to look at the options and what I have got with joomla is free apart from one addon which cost me $40.

What do you mean about unused space?

I have just realised how spammy my domain title looks, have to change that I think!!

Hi Nick, your site looks better then before but still you need to work more on designing part.
Title tags of most webpages should be changed as per the page content for better SE visibility.
Try to change theme of your blog with some relevant header which will represent your business.

With regards to title tags I thought the titles are in relation to the content?

With regards the blog do you mean changing the colours etc?

amazing website.It is very helpful.I suggest you put some more pictures,videos and you change the background and put some new background image...some peacful image that is connected with Florida.other than that the site is good.

the site background..the background is blue but I think you should change it to some beach background..some peaceful background that doesnt hurt your eyes when you look at.

I thought the colour was quite good, the blue goes quite well with that type of grey colour. Maybe Ill try a lighter blue. Cheers

Ans : Constructive Image alignment so that webpages would be more attractive.
You have many villa images on home page, try to place them randomly throughout the page which may looks better. Not in a straight line below one another. Page length should be minimum and should not be more then 2-3 scrolls.

Ans : Title tag for index page is Okay but for inner pages you should add few more relevant keywords in title tag.

The site looks neat and clean. Please make the changes suggested by Harry. I agree that the page length should not be more than 2 to 3 scrolls. I found a dead link on the main page (Features URL). It gives a 404 Error. Please check if all the links on the website are working.

The content is similar to my old site but that uses 90% of screen width, so didnt look as long...
Ill get rid of some of it, some is there for search engine purposes if I am honest.

The blog theme was the only one I could find and it was originally on disneyworldonline.co.uk and I agree I need to change it...

On my original site which is Orlando Villas for Rent, Orlando Vacation Homes | Orlando Villa Rentals Home I had the images going down either side. But I could not fit them without the text going way down the page...

I am using joomla and I am using a custom theme which I downloaded and modded myself a little bit. But I have now noticed that the google cache of the page has the text all white!!

I am thinking maybe google thinks it is cloaking somehow? I really do not know how and why this is happening.

I might change the theme of the site if I can find a better joomla ones as this one has 4 errors on w3 which I cannot fix. I like sites that are in the middle of the page with a background to it (like this board) and do not like using 100% width styles so it has been hard for me to find one that fits what I wanted (I searched for over 8 hours). The good thing about using joomla is I can quickly get content on it from anywhere and the design of it can quickly be changed too

Ill have a look into broken links, it was all php code urls and Ive changed them to search engine friendly so Ill just go through and see what I can find, I know that the enquiry form has a 404 error so I need to get that fixed.

I am going to get the rest of my content (been sidetracked on my forum this week) and then finish it, then hopefully people looking to go to orlando will find it via google and my adverts
