I thought the same but it is, and apparently it is not that rare to see either. There are a couple of Vid clips on Google video taken in Churchill Canada, showing Huskies mingling with Polar bears.
Have a look for them, they were uploaded by the BBC. Unfortunately you won't be able to view them if outside the UK though.

Weird - you'd think they would fight. Did you know that when they are hunting polar bears hide their faces with their paw so they appear all white

My dog does that after he's done something wrong. Also he once ate my seal.. that is my piggy bank one to stop all the money falling out.

Baby Polar bear asks his mum "Do polar bears wear coats"
"No, polar bears have thick fur so they don't need a coat. Why do you ask?" says mum.

    "Cos i'm F***ing freezing".

lol admin, but I beg to differ, at least i know i don't sit there with my hands over my eyes hoping people won't see me Although to be fair, polar bears don't have settees do they! or maybe they do, never been invited to dinner.

only Humans can hunt Polar bears and they know that we can chase them no matter with what speed they run. At least they leave some chance of survival by looking full white

No they hide their noses when they are hunting seals (the swimmy ones not the ones that Jon uses to keep his money in his piggy bank) so they can lie camouflaged on the.

Although that does suggest that the eyesight of your average seal must be pretty appalling. I'm sure that even with my crap eyes I could probably spot a f***ing enormous great polar bear unless it was wearing a cloak of invisibility.

Now there's a thought - invisible polar bears, how would you know? There might be one stood behind you right now.
